Job Responsibilities
· Drive development and engineering product- & solution designs incl. changes related to customer needs incl. continuous improvement, quality, carbon out and cost improvements, securing right priorities and business impact, running within budget frames.
· Actively support development and execution of BU product areas strategies, and contribute to an increased innovation level through the global Heartbeat process
· Secure team engagement and stakeholder management across the organization locally, as well as globally. Thriving in a matrix is a must.
· Be an active member of both local China Hydronic S Leadership team, as well as Hydronic S RD&E Leadership team.
· Lead, developing and maintaining people competences through a Growth Mindset approach.
· Secure a common Hydronic S product- and solutions knowledge according to product- & solutions road maps, new customer needs and existing portfolio.
· Manage temporary deviations for management approvals when necessary.
· Lead design, engineering and development issues and efforts related to quality issues affecting customers, manufacturing, or originating from suppliers.
· Support to perform root cause analysis for product designs based on quality issues.
· Secure steering of prioritization of customer requests, variants and change controls, ensuring the right balance between available resources and decided activities.
· Coordination of global RD&E activities, must-win-battles and networks with other RD&E and ETO locations. Silkeborg, Kolding and Nordborg in Denmark, Trata in Slovenia, and Tuchom in Poland.

We are looking for an accomplished communicator with good presentation skills capable of distilling and communicating high-level topics towards all parts of the organization, as well as towards customers, securing a clear focus on the value we bring in the organization of RD&E.
Additionally, we would like to see:
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic or mechanical engineering or similar education
· A true collaborative mindset as this role requires effective collaboration with the individual business units, manufacturing, procurement and experts in the greater organization of Hydronic S (leading without formal power)
· A confident leader who feels comfortable in working with global teams and reporting into high-level leadership teams
· A passionate, motivated and fast-learning mind-set
· A goal-oriented, well-structured and independent working style
· A collaborator with effective communication as well as mitigation and problem-solving skills
· Proven record of international leadership & team engagement
· Solid experience in Product Design including managerial & leadership responsibility
· In-depth experience with development, verification and validation of mechanical & electronic control products and holds a track record in utilizing quality tools
· Familiar with cross functional teams in multiple locations and global relationships
· Willingness to travel within China and to some degree abroad
· Fluency (in word and writing) for the English language.
