RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN TASKS
Conduct multidiscipline commissioning activities for one or a group of (Complex) systems within an installation (A, B, and C scope, through to conversion and start-up). The scope is defined by the project Completions manager.
Ensure that the Completions database is adequately populated, and ITRs assigned for the equipment belonging to systems to be commissioned.
Interface with procurement (package engineer) to prepare system’s commissioning + Interface with engineering to collect all design data necessary to the preparation and performance of system’s commissioning.
Resolve Construction/fabrication/commissioning issues in accordance with the engineering documents on the systems to be commissioned.
Initiate design change request if and when it is beneficial for the quality, progress, or cost + With systems supervisors prepare mini-schedule, run-down curves, and report to ensure clear visibility to the final phase of the project.
Liaise with Project Completion Manager to request vendor’s presence on-site for the systems to be commissioned.
Develop or review OTP(s) -Operation Testing Procedure(s)-, for the systems to be commissioned.
Recommend improvement to Group management system to fit changing situation.
Assign responsibilities and set goals to discipline supervisor.
When, if required, deputize the project Completions Manager.
Refer to the Company lessons learnt database.
Manage punch list of systems commissioned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A university degree or technical college diploma in Engineering or Materials Science
A minimum of 15 years experience in Engineering and/or Construction and/or Project Management in the offshore industry, with particular emphasis on FPSO/FSO Floating Production vessels.
Preferably with either a mechanical or structural background Fluent in spoken and written English.
