Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist in the development and implementation of software solutions.• Collaborate with the development team to design, write, and maintain efficient code.• Perform data analysis and create data models using Python and SQL.• Support machine learning and deep learning projects.• Participate in system development and contribute to the enhancement of existing platforms.

Requirements:• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.• Proficiency in Python and SQL.• Basic understanding of machine learning and deep learning technologies.• Experience with system development and software lifecycle.• Experience with low-code UI programming framework, e.g., Streamlit or Dash.• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:• Familiarity with popular machine learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow, Keras, or Py Torch.• Experience with version control systems like Git.• Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
