The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and operating China IT infrastructure environment, collaborating with both AMT Global and AMT China, as well as local clients.

Under the supervision of the local Head of Infrastructure, the candidate will manage China local datacenter, servers, networks, storage, and the end-user environment.

Key Responsibilities Build and operate the China local datacenter, setting up the virtualization platform, servers, storage, network, and backup environment.

Troubleshoot and resolve various infrastructure-related issues.

Manage the local Microsoft 365 and Azure environment in accordance with global security guidelines.

Build and support the AMT China end-user environment.

Participate in client projects as an infrastructure stream member or lead.

Document and implement infrastructure policies and procedures.

Supervise vendor relationships and outsourced services, managing SLAs/KPIs and commercial constraints.

Actively manage IT risks in accordance with the Group's Risk Framework, ensuring risks are properly evaluated, recorded, and mitigation plans are monitored through to completion.

Prepare for audits and regulatory requests.

Position location Geographical area Asia, China City Shangai Candidate criteria Minimal education level Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent Academic qualification / Speciality Proven experience in managing infrastructure for major professional financial or IT companies.

Ability to communicate effectively with local Chinese clients and partners, as well as global infrastructure and IT teams.

Understanding of the legal and regulatory environments relating to IT in China.

Level of minimal experience 3-5 years Experience Experienced in interacting with both internal and external clients.

Experience working under pressure without compromising on the quality of deliverables/results.

Required skills Excellent interpersonal skills to handle user requests.

Task-oriented with the ability to take ownership of issues and drive remediation.

Excellent problem analysis and solving skills, with the ability to understand complex issues quickly and set priorities based on technical and strategic considerations.

Technical skills required Excellent at Linux (Redhat / Su SE), Windows, networking, server, storage hardware and backup technologies.

Familiar with Cloud technology and services.

Experience with local financial cloud providers SSE Tech or Azure / Tencent cloud preferred.

Proficiency in both Chinese and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
