THE TEAM The Group Shared Functions (GSF) support the growth of all our three businesses: Dafiti, Lamoda and The ICONIC.
Our Shared Function offices are in the UK, Germany and Luxembourg with teams also based in our regional offices in Singapore, Vietnam, China, Malaysia and Sydney.

SCOPE OF ROLE Located in RPL FASHION TRADING GUANGZHOU CO., LTD (China office -Guangzhou), you will be working directly with the Group’s own brand production teams (Zalora in SEA and The Iconic in ANZ), developing and facilitating their ethical sourcing audit programs. It is an opportunity for a motivated and dynamic ethical sourcing professional to contribute to an important phase of our sustainability journey in a constantly evolving regulatory environment.
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure sustainability compliance within the own brands' supply chain.
This may be extended to third party brands in the future to support sustainability compliance efforts within our extended value chain. HOW YOU’ LL SUCCEED Factory audit planning Coordinating the audit planning and ensuring all the factories are regularly audited based on Global Fashion Group standard timeframe.
Together with relevant stakeholders identify suppliers for necessary on-site visits to ensure proper implementation of improvement plans and provide training sessions.
Propose and lead capacity-building programs to drive long term working conditions improvement in the supply chain.
Support factories on their social compliance journey Supporting the remediation process after 3 rd party social compliance audits, providing adequate guidance to solve non-compliances through immediate corrective and preventive actions, and follow-up on CAP progress.
Create and provide ad-hoc training, guidelines and tools based on needs to help the factories build their internal management systems and processes, with the goal of achieving long term compliance (HR and records systems, Health & Safety measures and processes, overtime management, etc.) Conduct on site visits at factories Reporting & Data Manage audit data, track on factories improvement plans, and regularly report on factory status and results Drive the Group’s Sustainability program in the supply chain Contribute to meeting Fair & Ethical Sourcing goals and targets Contribute to building the Group's additional ambitions and operationalize it across the supply chain (such as chemical compliance, material traceability, worker-engagement, environmental good practices, etc.) Serve as a key communication point for Commercial and Sustainability teams, vendors, and factories regarding supply chain compliance.
WHAT IT TAKES Minimum requirements of a Bachelor Degree in Sustainability / Social compliance / Management / Environmental Science / EHS Professionally obtained experience in social compliance and sustainability in the Fashion / Sourcing Industry, at an operational and/or managerial level.
Factory social compliance auditing experience is preferred.
Experience in the fashion industry would be nice to have.
Business level (written and oral) in English and Mandarin are mandatory.
Strong cross-departmental project management skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, PPT, Excel and Google office products.
Passionate about sustainability, with a strong drive to make a meaningful impact and improve social and environmental standards.
