Reporting to the Compliance Director, the Compliance Director for APAC provides compliance operational support to the business in these regions, and will be actively involved in providing compliant commercial solutions to the business and overseeing compliance program design, operation, training and monitoring for the region.

The Compliance Director for APAC will work closely with the company’s global compliance, legal, finance, sales and channel, and other groups to provide localized support in order to ensure consistent application of corporate policies and compliance with local and international law.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Compliance related responsibilities.

As a member of global compliance team, the role will: Work with cross-functional units to leverage the current compliance infrastructure and develop, enhance and implement additional compliance programs; Team with local sales and business leaders to support compliance and operational aspects of PTC’s go to market strategy; Assist in designing risk assessments to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs in the region; Implement initiatives to raise awareness of ethics and compliance in the region, including conduct live training for employees and PTC business partners; Work with PTC’s global compliance and internal audit teams to monitor key controls supporting our anti-bribery and export control programs; Support PTC’s partner assessment efforts and on-boarding process; Perform PTC’s third-party audits with focus on third party compliance posture and compliance with PTC’s Third-Party Program rules Support global compliance in the overall operation of the world-wide anti-bribery and trade compliance program; Respond to general compliance questions; Stay current on compliance issues affecting key program initiatives in the region; Research and regularly update compliance and legal teams on the status of regional regulatory changes; and Investigate individual compliance matters.

The role to be based in Shanghai, China and will require occasional travel, including to regional APAC countries (e.g., Korea, Japan).

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: The highest standards of business ethics, honesty, and personal integrity;5 plus years of post qualification experience; Experience in the Compliance role within Software/High Tech industry a plus; Bachelor’s Degree Experience in regional anti-corruption laws (U.

S.

FCPA) and Export Control regulations experience a plus; Fluent in Chinese and English (written and spoken) Also, some proficiency in Korean and/or Japanese preferred but not required.
