Job Description Vuori is looking for a GM, Greater China (including Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan) to spearhead the next phase of direct-to-consumer expansion in China, building on the strong omni-channel start of the brand over the past year.

The GM will oversee the daily operation and sales performance of our DTC business in Greater China.

The GM’s primary focuses will be: 1.

Help identify new retail locations (in partnership with the VP of International and brokers) for retail expansion.

2.

Build and scale a best-in-class retail team and business, leaning on the principles of Vuori’s retail approach globally, and adding in local execution elements.

3.

Represent the voice of the Chinese consumer in the development of our brand, marketing, and product range for this critical territory.

4.

Help drive the sales and efficiency of our online marketplaces (TMall & JD) in partnership with our Tmall partner.

5.

Work with our brand marketing team to build a repeatable flywheel for acquiring new customers, and building loyalty to the brand .

Qualifications What you'll get to do:  Own and drive sales, profit, and brand equity growth for the DTC business in Greater China     Act as the key leadership team member and point of contact for the Mainland China market, helping script the future of the business and brand in the market   Build/lead a small and highly effective team, representing the brand and the Vuori spirit and excelling in their crafts both individually and as a group   Work with the VP of International to identify, vet, and secure new real retail stores, building a fleet of successful stores in China.    Own the establishment and performance of key operating KPIs include the top line sales, conversion rate, and profitability of the individual country digital & physical stores   Work with the existing international e Commerce team & our Tmall partner to build and ensure a great customer experience across the digital business   Lean on and leverage existing company resources and expertise when building team and approach   Stay abreast of market specific industry trends/activities/strategies and report findings to key business partners as well as internal team members   Help inform and execute an omni-channel customer acquisition plan, with a clear roadmap that works with the company’s technology plans   Partner with merchandising and planning to build an optimal assortment for the China markets    Optimize and customize the user experience both in store and online, including visual merchandising, site & store navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns   Liaise actively with the community and digital marketing teams to ensure traffic driving and customer acquisition plans meet the needs of the business.   Work with the Vice President of International to identify new opportunities & upcoming market focuses outside of Mainland China (HK, Macau, Taiwan)   Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase sales and profitability    Who you are:  15+ years of experience in consumer brand, focusing on Direct-to-Consumer Channels, with at least 5 years overseeing a substantial retail fleet, and ideally with some e Com exposure/channel ownership as well    Comfort in both high level and detailed conversation, with leadership team, store teams, and corporate partners   Omni-channel experience, with an understanding of how to think about the customer across both digital and retail channels   Knowledge and implementation of the tools, methods and approaches that drive higher conversion rates, increased average order value and customer acquisition across both stores and online   Ability to use analytics and date to drive decision-making   Experience in results oriented, high growth environment   A leader, comfortable leading small teams and growing them to be bigger.

Agile and scrappy, capable of delivering results while resources scale   Understanding of Retail & Digital Marketing & e Commerce KPIs – CPA, LTV, Repeat Purchase Rate, ROAS, etc.   Collaborative and creative thinker ; curious and analytical   Passionate about the Vuori mission    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience    Additional Information Vuori is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
