Job Summary:
They are seeking an Aircraft Safety and Reliability Design Engineer. The role involves the safety and reliability design of civil aircraft power systems, ensuring that these systems meet safety and reliability standards as well as airworthiness regulations throughout their entire lifecycle. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in continuous airworthiness safety assessments and reliability enhancement.
Key
Responsibilities:
Safety analysis and evaluation: Develop a safety plan, conduct functional hazard assessment, failure mode and effects assessment, fault tree analysis, and common cause analysis.
Reliability design and analysis: reliability modelling and equipment reliability prediction, durability and damage tolerance analysis.
Data monitoring and continuous improvement: Collect and analyse engine failures in the in-service fleet, support engine failure investigations, and promote design optimization.
Required Skills & Experience:
Master's degree or above, majoring in reliability, mechanical engineering, aviation engineering or related fields.
At least 10 years of engine design experience; Experience in developing wide body or long-range mainline aircraft is preferred.
Experience with commercial aircraft cabin development, ideally wide-body or long-range programs.
Good command of English for technical communication Mandarin Chinese skills are a plus.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a multi-disciplinary team.
