You will be part of a Supply Chain team accountable of guiding and leading our manufacturing partners to meet our customers’ expectations as well as helping to create, implement and adopt new processes, platforms and technologies that enables better customer experience. The Senior Advisor, Manufacturing Partner Operations is the primary interface to the Manufacturing Partner site and is accountable for driving defined Key Operational Performance Metrics and Zebra Product Deliveries.
This position acts as the main point of contact with our Manufacturing Partners supporting all business at the partner site.
Position requires strong understanding of Supply Chain management processes and comprehensive manufacturing operations knowledge.
This leadership position works with cross functional partners to balance operational efficiency and cost.
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and providing governance of metrics, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities: Primary contact for cross functional requests related to supply chain engagement.
Sets operational goals and Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) for our manufacturing partner sites.
Feeds this data into Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Business Reviews (EBR) to drive Partner Strategies Accountable for driving Monthly Operational Reviews with our Manufacturing Partners; driving adherence to Key Performance Metrics (KPIs), identifying root cause issues, and implementing process changes where needed.
Manage end-to-end Supply Chain Operation, orchestrate manufacturing operations and collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver the best value to our customers.
Responsible for oversight of capacity planning and manufacturing delivery execution aligning to forecast changes and business needs – Revenue and backlog management.
Central point of contact to manage Quality excursions; design or manufacturing related.
Communicate plans, priorities, and roadmaps for Supply Operations team to execute and meet required performance and results requirements.
Material Management oversight, assurance of timely and sufficient inbound material models for internal and external suppliers.
Understanding and enforcement of procurement process required (e.g.
Build Plan Mgmt, Supply-Demand reviews, Leadtime attainment).
Point of Escalation. Manage and participate in critical projects such as scheduled ship date improvements and Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier delivery performance.
Oversite and management of Site Level inventory metrics (Inventory entitlement, strategic inventory implementation and levels, E&O, buyback/consignment adherence and approval)Oversee Engineering Change Order management to ensure transparent implementation and minimized Inventory impact.
Excess and Obsolete management and scrap approvals.
Provides alignment and support of Global Supply Chain strategic initiatives Partners with various cross-functional organizations including Product Operations, Sourcing and Procurement, Planning, Fulfillment, Technology and Quality to drive business outcomes.
Cost and productivity (Non-Material Spend, PPV policy and approvals, cost reviews support MVA reduction projects)Data stewardship and accuracy of data sent to Zebra to support operations.
Coordinates and develops procurement content for executive presentations.
Handles miscellaneous functional requests as focal point for supply chain.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree10+ years of relevant experience Advanced knowledge of the product sets supported Proven work experiences in the field of business operations, sourcing and procurement of relevant industries.
