If you have a natural-born drive to create progress and perform, then we have a career for you!Our Business Group Faurecia Interiors, which develops and produces dashboards, center consoles, cockpit and door panels, is looking for a Thermoplastic material Engineer for its R & D Center XXX (China).Job Description:Within an international team of 10 people, the Thermoplastic Engineer will bring his knowledge and passion of thermoplastic polymers to support core advanced engineering missions. They will have a strong intimacy with internal and external customers to provide global technical support by offering their material, product and process expertise on several projects and at various stages of development and validation. Regular international travels will be necessary to lead their missions.They will lead study and validate new material and process for all Faurecia Interiors products (Instrument panels, door panels, console,...).The main responsibilities of the Thermoplastic material Engineer will be :Promote and deploy Faurecia's technology portfolio to project teams from the acquisition phase, to the development phase, to serial lifeSupport development and production teams on Thermoplastic selection Key contact for internal and external customersContribute to material policy of the company, in collaboration with team and other stakeholders, and thanks to efficient and technical network built with supplier and customersParticipate in the deployment of new technological concepts in close collaboration with the innovation teamsLead technical and scientifically study to improve standards and best practicesPromote and deploy technology portfolio of faurecia, from acquisition, development phase and to serial lifeParticipate to trials in plantsConduct internal and external benchmarks and monitor technological progress in order to build the technological roadmap in line with the company's Strategic PlanCapitalize technical knowledge through the writing of standards and policies for material / machine / product / process design and development, in collaboration with other departmentsInitiate improvement of the existing standards based on feedback from project teamsTransfer technical know-how within Faurecia Interiors: design and lead training modules within the Technology Academy (internal university)The ideal candidate will have:Engineering Degree in polymer material or chemistry of polymers, PhD is appreciated 3 to 5 years’ experience in materials fieldFluent in EnglishInterpersonal skillsCapacity to work in team and collaborative modeAbility to animate meetings and workshops with internal and external customersTechnical curiosity and passionScientific approach Knowledge of standard software (MS Office) and at ease with digital tools
