About this Position
- BDM, part of the APP APAC regional SBU organization, works closely with
Sales, AE and KAM team to drive short- and long-term targets of SBU in APAC.
With professional project management skill and extensive market know-how, BDM
undertakes unique tasks to drive defined, strategic and impactful projects in the
three market segments, incl. flexible pack (FP), paper pack (PP) and special
tapes and labels (STL).
This role leads Coating projects of flexible pack
segment in APAC region and implements KSI to build coating powerhouse.
What you´ll do
- Drive business growth through structured program / project management. Manage every aspect of a program / project, including its initiation / definition, planning, execution (with strong focus on communication and stakeholder management, risk assessment) and closure. (40%)
a. Develop and implement programs / project management from scratch, which contain the relevant details of a program / project.
b. Continuously track and evaluate the progress of a program / project, ensure visibility of risks & issues and its swift mitigating actions as well as escalation to program / project steering bodies to seek solutions to a more efficient process.
c. Assign, on-board, guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with set program / project standards, procedures, and guidelines (should the latter not exist, you will develop and implement them) - Lead a regional BDM team of Coatings in GCN, JP/KR and SEA, coach individuals & develop team to next level. (30%)
- Develop strategic partnership with key players in the value chain of defined projects, incl. Brand Owners, Machinery and Material manufacturers. (20%)
- Support related M&A
activities. (10%)
What makes you a good fit
- Master’s degree in business administration, Project Management, Strategy, Engineering, or equivalent academic qualification.
- Min. 10 years of experience in project management with min. 3-5 years in leading roles is essential to this position; this may include previous successful work experience in a consulting company. Project management certification from a recognized project management institute or PMP certification is preferred.
- Min. 3 years of people management experience is required.
- Experience in the Packaging industry is a plus.
- Relevant experience in project management / consulting in M&A is preferred.
