Provides marketing/communications support for a business. Activities could include analyses of market conditions, trends, and forecasts, and wider marketing/events support. Works under standard policies and procedures with some autonomy; has a weekly/monthly focus.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the business strategy for our green hydrogen electrolyser business (PEM & AEM technology routes) in China, including identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key customers and partners, and driving revenue growth in the region. Identify and evaluate potential partners and customers in the region, and negotiate and close deals to drive business growth. Work closely with local functional leader and business owner to make sure the business is fully aware the market movement and the direction is aligned with local business strategy. Work closely with the global product and technology teams to ensure that the needs of the Chinese market are incorporated into our product development plans. Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity, and provide feedback to the local & global product and technology teams. Represent JMHT at key industry events and conferences in China, and act as a spokesperson for the company if in needed. Working within a highly competitive fast moving environment. Qualifications:
At least 5 years of commercial experience in MNCs or reputable local companies in the energy sector, or 3 years of experience in the hydrogen business. Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies in China, ideally with experience in developing So E and local startup customers. Excellent relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, prefer candidates with established relationships or contacts in hydrogen market. Strong negotiation skills and ability to close deals. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent JMHT at key industry events and conferences. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently. Strong language ability in English and Mandarin. University degree in energy discipline, ideally in electrochemistry or in related business disciplines. Knowledge of eletrolyser business in hydrogen market is a plus Good project management and planning skills Good teamwork to collaborate with the Technical Application team to win customers. Have safety culture awareness and good training in compliance for commercial activities. Desire to success and fast learner to new things. Ability to travel domestically (approx. over 30% of entire workload) and internationally if requires
