Overview Technical R&D leader on Asia Energy and Sport Drink platforms to drive innovation, future proofing, productivity and technical brand stewardship AOP and pipeline development, covering Sting and Revive brands.
Responsibilities Work closely with regional R&D functional teams, Marketing, Insight, Supply Chain teams to drive APAC AOP innovation delivery on Energy and Sport Drinks platforms Drive the pipeline development for Energy and Sport Drinks platforms by fully utilizing Shanghai R&D center’s capability Wiring with Global R&D teams to learn global innovation and functional ingredient to determine the opportunities to further localize to Asia markets Cope with positively culinary thinking in product innovation, partner with culinary team to build-up flavor pipelines In partnership with PGCS, Finance to identify key productivity initiatives on for Energy and Sport Drinks platforms, provide technical support to achieve productivity agenda Ensure technical discipline and have all technical product documentation in accordance with Technical Stage Gate and POM processes Build technical capability on Energy and Sport Drinks platforms for APACManage and coach subordinates on technical skills, and lab technicians for daily work in lab Qualifications Master Degree in Food Science or Food Engineering Excellent Communication skills include writing and speaking both in Chinese and English>2 years direct working experience in the area of beverage product development Well understand R&D methodology, process or Innovation tools that apply to R&D projects / activities Strong project management, presentation and interpersonal skills, able to manage cross-markets/culture communications Goal-oriented, self-motivated, team player, fast learning and passion for new techniques
