PRIMARY PURPOSE:
1. Lead new project development with Outsourcing Operation suppliers
2. Lead strategic supply chain projects assigned by DSS supply chain
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead Project team to develop new Work Flow or Framework to support DSS Supply Chain new initiatives. Manage project team to deploy or execute special projects as assigned by management
2. Lead Project Teams in transforming fuzzy data into executable projects. (Requires coordination across multiple sites: MX-Lisle / MXS/ MXDG/ MXCD/ MXSH.)
3. Develops, documents, and maintains the Project Plans (Scope, Schedule, Budget, ROI, Risks, Success Criteria, etc.) for assigned New Product Development, Capacity Tooling Deployment, Manufacturing Process Transfers, and/or Continuous Improvement projects
4. Lead cross functional New Product Development teams internally and externally through the execution, monitoring, and achievement of the Project Plan using Project Management methodologies such as Action Item Lists, Gantt Charts, Risk Reduction Registers, Team Meetings, etc.
5. Proactively identifies, documents, and executes risk reduction activities to minimize Project Risks associated with Cost, Quality, Delivery and Timing that could negatively affect Project Plan achievement
6. Clearly and concisely communicates status of assigned projects to both external and internal stakeholders. Identifies and communicates project barriers to gain management action to remove
7. Advocate and ensure project team adherence to the Product Development Process and other related procedures
8. Maintains Planned and Actual Phase Dates in Molex Resource and Navigator system for assigned Projects.
9. Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems and Initiatives by following stated policies and procedures
10. Continuously develop supplier capability improvements to meet Molex and customer request, and ensure that they meet Molex’s expectation for timing, cost and quality in support of the Project Plan.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Lead project management team to accelerate new projects qualification and review projects progress weekly
SCOPE:
•Work independently to lead both internal and external team to finish new product introduction and transfer to mass production
•Works independently reporting the activity and results are reviewed on an agreed upon basis with management
•Position has a global reach through work with different Molex Design Centers & Plants, Customers, and Supplier entities
•Position focused on setting team direction for successful execution of the Project Plan
•Position involves team work, creative thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
•Frequently travel on site to Suppliers, or other Molex site upon project needs
EDUCATION:
REQUIRED:
•Bachelor’s degree or above
•CET6 or above, frequent English in both oral and written
•Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
PREFERRED:
•Training in Quality Sciences
•With Project Cost management experiences like BOM structure cost and process labr cost understanding, basic IE sense is preferred.
•Supplier management experiences
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
•Knowledge of product development activities (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and/or Sales/Marketing) through course work or work-related experience
•Experience or knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools
PREFERRED:
•Work Experience in connector and cable design /manufacture, or relevant industry
•Experience working in a global team environment

•5+years project management working experience

•Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office such as Power Point, MS Excel and MS Word

•Have multi-national corporation experience
•Experience using Microsoft Project
