As a senior business planning manager, you will provide technical leadership as an expert designing and implementing business processes, and act as a PMO for special projects and initiatives.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting R&D China in making a positive impact on changing patients’ lives.

This opportunity is based in Shanghai.

Typical Accountabilities Execute business processes (scorecard, risk log, resource planning tool) and effectively communicate to ensure R&D China as an organisation run in an efficient and compliant manner.

Independently lead projects as a PMO, ensures efficient and effective leadership and management of project information, quality of data and projection, and integrity of information supplied, identifies risks and generates reports/presentations for the leadership team.

Provide operational support to Head of R&D China and Head of BPO, including slides preparation and lead complex events.

Proactively build network within R&D China and across other business areas in Astra Zeneca, to share best practices, key contacts and emerging issues.

Provides direction, guidance and development to junior members of the BPO team.

Deputise Head of BPO as needed.
