Primary Responsibilities 主要职责: Develop and deliver structural system designs, including layouts, detailed drawings, and material specifications, ensuring compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
Review calculations, such as load analysis, stress analysis, fatigue, and stability checks, to ensure structural integrity and safety.
Generate and maintain structural deliverables, including general arrangement drawings, connection details, material take-offs (MTOs), and fabrication drawings.
Provide technical support to the engineering team, ensuring alignment with project objectives and resolving design-related issues.
Assist in the selection of structural materials and components, considering cost, availability, and project constraints.
Support sales and procurement activities by providing technical input on structural systems and equipment.
Collaborate with other disciplines (., piping, mechanical, process) to ensure structural designs are fully integrated and meet project requirements.
Address and resolve interface issues to avoid rework and ensure smooth project execution.
Participate in design reviews, and constructability reviews, implementing feedback and lessons learned.
Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning of structural systems, ensuring compliance with design intent and addressing site queries.
Conduct inspections and reviews at fabrication yards and construction sites to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
Ensure compliance with international standards and regulations (., API RP 2 A, ISO 19902, DNV-ST-N001, NORSOK N-004) and client specifications.
Address and resolve site design queries, ensuring timely responses to avoid delays in construction and commissioning.
Participate in 3 D model reviews, ensuring structural designs are clash-free and meet project requirements.
Ensure proper documentation and handover of structural deliverables, including as-built drawings.
Qualifications/ Requirements 任职要求: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
5 years of experience in structural design and engineering within the offshore oil and gas industry.
Hands-on experience with structural analysis, material selection, and fabrication techniques.
Site and fabrication experience, including knowledge of construction and commissioning practices.
Proficiency in structural design tools and software, such as:
3 D modeling: Tekla, AVEVA E3 D, PDMS, Auto CAD
Structural analysis: SACS, , ANSYS
Drafting: Auto CAD
Understanding of international structural codes and standards (., API RP 2 A, ISO 19902, DNV-ST-N001, NORSOK N-004).
Knowledge of structural materials, welding, and fabrication techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Willingness to travel to fabrication yards and construction sites as required.
