Job Description We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Literature Teacher to join our faculty for Grades 10-12.
The ideal candidate will inspire students to appreciate and critically analyse literature from various cultures and time periods.

Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfil the requirements of the school's curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required.
Conduct classroom instruction in English Literature, focusing on literary analysis, critical thinking, and effective communication.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents, and preparing students for internal and external examinations.
Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the needs of all students, including those with different learning styles and abilities.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum and teaching practices.
Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and professional development opportunities.
Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by school policies.
Uphold and model the school's mission, vision, and values.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Teaching certification or relevant teaching qualifications.
Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
Strong knowledge of English literature, literary criticism, and pedagogical strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create a supportive and challenging learning environment.
Proficiency in using educational technology and digital resources to enhance learning.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
Preferred Skills and Experience : Experience with IB, AP, or other international curricula.
Familiarity with second-language acquisition and supporting ESL students.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in education.
