We are looking for a Head of Science for a bilingual school based in Shanghai.

This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

Job details Teach the schools Science subject to school secondary students aging from 11 to 18 years old Develop, review, and update the math curriculum to align with state/national standards and school objectives.

Guide teaching strategies, integrate technology, and ensure effective pedagogy across grade levels.

Mentor math teachers, conduct evaluations, organize professional development, and manage departmental staffing.

Monitor assessment data, identify trends, and implement interventions to improve outcomes.

Work with administrators, parents, and stakeholders to address concerns and enhance program visibility.

Oversee the department budget, textbooks, and educational tools.

Stay informed on educational trends and lead initiatives like competitions or STEM projects.

Attend regular staff meetings to discuss curriculum planning, student progress, and teaching and learning needs, as well as to share improvements Requirements Bachelor degree in related subjects Formal teaching qualification.

Bachelor/Master Degree in Education, PGCE certificate are acceptable.
