Amazon Japan Store Tech (JST) Big Innovation Team is looking for a talented, passionate UX designer to design and innovate for Amazon JP’s customers.
Key job responsibilities Propose innovative solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges by considering market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings Quickly iterate on multiple interactive design solutions and work through details.
Develop high level and/or detailed storyboards, mock-ups, interaction flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Deliver work that's user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, and also produces results.
Develop and maintain detailed UI specifications Present design works to project team for review and feedback Effectively communicate co-work with tech team to ensure the quality of the implemented UIA day in the life As a UX Designer, you will work closely with product managers, developers and other designers to gather insights about customers and apply your expert information architecture and interaction design skills to the needs and problems you uncover.
You will tackle the most significant challenges, generating and evaluating concepts, detailing solutions, and tracking improvements to customer experience and business health.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of design experience- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience- Have an available online portfolio- Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, Java Script, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)- Knowledge of and proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and In Design- Knowledge of mobile and web design patterns and accessibility standards PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs- Experience guiding or managing user research and usability testing Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
